Below are forms that indicate procedures and fees. Some forms are available online, however, others must specifically be picked up from the Planning and Zoning Office, 3rd Floor, Hamden Government Center, 2750 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, CT 06518. Application For Certificate Of Zoning Compliance & Bond Reduction/Release Request (137 KB) All procedures are listed with the application. Fees indicated on form.
Inland Wetland Application (168 KB) Deadline for applications must be submitted by 3:00 pm on the 15th of the month to the Planning Office in order to be scheduled for a site inspection at the meeting the following month. Please read instructions completely. Fees indicated on form.
Inland Wetlands Complaint Form (60 KB) You may remain anonymous if you so choose, but we prefer to have your contact information so we can call with questions about the problem. If you wish to remain anonymous, please do not include your name. No Fees.
Lot Line Revision/Lot Split (127 KB) To determine if a Lot Line Revision or Lot Split is possible, the information on this form is required. All information is accepted Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Planning Office. Fees indicated on form.
Property Complaint Form (60 kb) You may remain anonymous if you so choose, but we prefer to have your contact information so we can call with questions about the problem. If you wish to remain anonymous, please do not include your name. No Fees.
Site Plan Application (192 KB) Applicant must make certain that application meets the Zoning requirements of the Zone district in which the site is located. If approved, construction must proceed in accordance with approved plans. Any changes proposed by an applicant to an approved site plan shall be submitted in advance to the Planning and Zoning Office for review and prior approval by the staff or by the Commission, as required. Any changes made prior to such review and approval shall constitute a violation of Section 846 of the Zoning Regulations. Fees indicated on form.
Special Permit Application (199 KB) Completed applications must be submitted by 3:00 pm on the 15th of the month to the Planning Office, 3rd Floor, Hamden Government Center, 2750 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, CT 06518 in order to be put on the agenda for the meeting two months later. Fees indicated on form.
Subdivision and Resubdivision Application (212 KB) Completed applications must be submitted by 3:00 pm on the 15th of the month to the Planning Office in order to be put on the agenda for the meeting two months later. The regular meetings of the Planning Section of the Planning and Zoning Commission are held on the third Tuesday of each month. Fees indicated on form.
Zoning Board of Appeals Automotive Location Approval Application (172 KB) Completed applications must be submitted by 3:00 pm on the 15th of the month to the Planning Office, 3rd Floor, Hamden Government Center, 2750 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, CT 06518 in order to be put on the agenda for the meeting the following month. Fees indicated on form.
Zoning Board of Appeals Variance Application (175 KB) In this application find a list of the materials to be submitted to the Zoning Board of Appeals. It is your responsibility to provide all of this information. Fees indicated on form.
Zoning Permit Application (153 KB) On this form find a list of the materials to be submitted to the Planning Office. It is your responsibility to provide this information.
