Working at the Polls on Election Day 

Elections and Registrars Department

Any registered Hamden voter who is interested in working at the Polls on Election Day should contact the Registrar's Office. 

Workers are hired for these hours:

• All day, from 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM
• Half day, from 5:30 AM to 1 PM, or from 1 PM to 8:30 PM
  

Pay starts at $7.50 per hour.  Workers must attend a training session before they can be hired.
