Who is on the Ballot
Republican and Democratic candidates for President and Vice-President will be selected at the national conventions in August, 2008; minor party and petition candidates will be certified by early September. Candidates for U.S. Congress, State Senate and Assembly, Judge of Probate, and Registrars of Voters will be chosen at local party conventions during the month of May.
Except for State Legislature representatives, candidates will be the same throughout the town. Your choices for State Legislature will depend on your State Senatorial district (11th or 17th) and State Assembly district (88th, 91st, 96th, or 103rd), which are determined by where you live.
