EZ Form Cable Corporation Develops New Patent For Liquid Level Sensing Devise
EZ Form Cable Corporation is a privately held manufacturing company based in Hamden, CT, which makes a variety of products supplied to customers in the military, microwave and telecommunication industries. Current offerings include a comprehensive range of miniature semi-rigid and flexible coaxial cables, semi-rigid and flexible cable assemblies, coaxial delay lines and coaxial RF connectors.
As part of their overall strategy to diversify into new markets, including some niche businesses, EZ Form has recently developed a U.S. patented state-of-the-art liquid level sensing device. The product can be used to measure the fuel level in the fuel tanks of, initially general aviation aircraft, and eventually commercial cargo and passenger airplanes. The product, which is utilized in conjunction with time domain reflectometer technology, is more accurate, faster and provides more information than current fuel level sensors which are limited and rely on a capacitive measuring device or an imprecise float mechanism.
