O'Keefe Baseball Academy Opens on Sanford Street
Mayor Craig Henrici and former Mayor Carasone were on hand to help celebrate the opening of new small business in hamden, the O'Keefe Baseball Academy. Mike O'Keefe from Hamden has opened a Baseball/ Softball Academy on 109 Sanford St. Suite E.

Mike O'Keefe played Professional Baseball for seven years reaching Triple AAA with the Atlanta Braves. Mike started his career with the LA Angels and also played with the Boston Red Sox organization in 2004 and 2005.Mike has employed state of the art technology to address instructional needs of all players youth through college with Virtual Pitching machines that use video and pitches in excess on 90mph as well as curves and sliders.
The Academy offers team clinics, private instruction in pitching , catching and hitting as well as yearly memberships. Mike was the 1995 New Haven Register Athlete of the Year.
