Sakura Garden Japanese Restaurant Opens in Pathmark Plaza

Sakura Garden Japanese Restaurant has opened in Hamden in the Pathmark Plaza at 1869 Dixwell Avenue at the corner of Benham Street. It part of the Home Depot development and is the final tenant to locate in the new Pathmark Plaza.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Friday, January 18th, including food and festivities. Mayor Craig Henrici, Economic Development Director Dale Kroop and members of the Hamden Chamber of Commerce attended the grand opening.

Sakura Garden has twelve Hibachi tables separate in two sections. Six Hibachi tables in the right section for regular Hibachi customers. There is another six at the left section for Hibachi parties. Customers can sit around the Hibachi table to see the chef cook in front of them. In the center of the restaurant there is a sushi bar. In the left corner of the restaurant there are regular dining room tables and a liquor bar. When customers come into the restaurant, they will see the beautiful interior design of the restaurant, including a waterfall and beautiful lighting.

 

 

 

 

Sakura Garden can also accommodate large parties with Habachi Grill. For further information about scheduling parties or to make reservations for Habachi or the Sushi Bar, contact the Manager.

The hours are Lunch Monday - Saturday 11:30am-3:00pm
Dinner Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 10:00pm

Friday & Saturday 4:30pm - 11:00pm
Sunday 12:30pm - 10:00pm all day dinner
