The Town of Hamden is pleased to announce that Sound Stage Systems recently closed on 2600 State Street, Hamden, a 5,000 S/F building. They will relocate their business from North Haven.
Since 1979, the staff at Sound Stage Systems has installed and serviced sound, lighting and video systems worldwide for all types of clients. The clients range from first time club owner to the international nightclub chain, major hotel chains, as well as the U.S. government, army and air force.

The owners of the company utilized the Town’s Commercial Downpayment Assistance Program to purchase the $430,000 property, which had been vacant for several years.
The program provides up to $50,000 towards the purchase of commercial and mixed-use properties. The Community Economic Development Fund (CEDF) underwrites and services the Hamden Small Business Loan Program that funded this purchase.
