Garden Homes Management is pleased to announce the opening of the Hamden Laundromat at 852 Dixwell Avenue. Mayor Carl J. Amento and Dale Kroop were on hand to celebrate the official grand opening of this new 5,000+S.F location. “We are pleased to have this kind of investment in Highwood. It helps to make it a pedestrian friendly neighborhood again.”
A state of the art facility, the Hamden Laundromat offers the ultimate in comfort and convenience for its customers. Its amenities include new, large capacity washers and dryers, comfortable seating throughout, indoor and outdoor children's play areas, vending, and entertainment including a large screen TV and video games. And for the first time in the area, the Hamden Laundromat features a pump injection system that provides free liquid detergent and softener to each front load washer, at the customer's option. This means customers will not have the cost of buying detergent and softener, and will also avoid the inconvenience of lugging large bottles along with their laundry bundles.
