China Lantern Opens on Dixwell Avenue
On Friday May 6th 2005, the Town celebrated the grand opening of the China Lantern at 2380 Dixwell Avenue. Mayor Carl Amento and other Town Officials attended the grand opening. The new owner Karen Deng helped to welcome the Town Officials.
The China Lantern is the former location of the Home Village Restaurant. The menu and the China Lantern will include popular dishes as well as unique Chinese cuisine. The restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11am till 10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11am till 11pm.
