REVAMPED HAMDEN FARMERS MARKET

    Mayor Scott D. Jackson is excited to announce the biggest and most diverse Hamden Farmers Market to date. The revamped Farmers Market will be held Fridays 11:00AM – 3:00 PM until October 7. As per years past  it will be held in the Miller Library Lower Parking Lot, located at 2901 Dixwell Avenue.
    This year's market will showcase the most comprehensive array of vendors yet. There will be produce vendors, bakers, Soup Girl, a specialized cookie truck, barbecue vendor, along with some exciting others. The market will be bigger than years past and include Hamden Youth Services which will provide arts and crafts activities for the younger marketgoers.
    All produce is grown in Connecticut, making the Hamden Farmers Market a special event for all involved.
    “Continuing and growing this great tradition of our Farmers Market is something of which Hamden can be very proud . Giving local business in the community this venue, as well as giving our residents access to farm fresh products, is quite exciting,” said Mayor Jackson.
    All area residents are encouraged to come peruse the marketplace and make the Farmers Market a regular lunch-time destination.
