Keefe Community Center Food Pantry
The Keefe Community Center Food Bank at 11 Pine Street Hamden provides residents of Hamden a three-day supply of food once a month. The food bank offers shelf- stable non-perishable foods, frozen meats, fresh produce, and meal kits when available.
Eligibility
The Hamden food bank is open to Hamden residents. You will be required to provide proof of residency and family size.

Client Choice Hours:
- Every Monday 12:00pm - 2:00pm
- Every Tuesday 2:00pm - 4:00pm
- Every Thursday 12:00pm - 2:00pm
Donation Drop Off Information
Donations can be dropped off at the Keefe Community Center Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or during Food Bank hours.

Suggested Donations
- 100% fruit juice, canned fruits and vegetables, instant potatoes,
- Meats, fish and protein canned tuna, ham or chicken, beef stew, chili, peanut butter, canned/dried beans,
- Complete meals pasta & canned sauce, boxed meals, hearty soups,
- Personal care products, shampoo, deodorant, soap, diapers, toilet paper, feminine hygiene, toothpaste,
- Cleaning supplies laundry detergent, paper towels, kitchen and bathroom cleaners.
Monetary Donations
- The check can be written out to Community Services, in the memo section
you can put Gift Fund that way it can be used for either food or toys. - The check can be written out to Hamden Food Bank that will strictly go into the food bank account.
- If the check is written out to Community Services in the memo section
- ( you can put Gift Fund/Food Bank or Gift Fund/Toy Drive)
