Overview

The Housing Authority of the Town of Hamden is a quasi-government agency which was established in 1965. The Housing Authority operates, provides and maintains housing under the Congregate, Elderly and Affordable housing programs.

Members

The Housing Authority is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners. All members of the Board are appointed by the Legislative Council for a five-year term, with no more than three belonging to any one political party.
