Tuesday Night Trainings with the
Hamden Fire Department

Hamden – The Hamden Fire Department is inviting the public to their compelling fire safety presentations.

Every year, the Hamden Fire Department gives a powerful fire safety presentation to all Hamden Middle School students. Their presentation covers various topics, including:

• Common causes of fires;
• How you can protect yourself and your loved ones by following important safety tips; 
• Exploring common myths about fire; and 
• Comparing "Hollywood" fires to real life scenes of interior fires, including helmet cam footage from our own Hamden firefighters.  
  
  

Fire safety presentations to the Hamden Middle School students have had a lasting impact on the audience and raises their awareness of fire safety. For the first time ever, the Hamden Fire Department is opening these fire safety presentations to all residents of Hamden! There is no cost and no registration is needed, all are welcome to attend.

Fire safety and prevention: prevent fires, save lives, and plan your escape. The Red Cross will be on hand to sign Hamden residents up for FREE smoke detector installations in their homes! Firefighters will be on hand to answer all your questions.
