Legal Notice – Board of Assessment Appeals Meeting September 29, 2020
All owners of Motor Vehicles registered in the Town of Hamden Connecticut are hereby notified that, pursuant to CGS 12-110(a), the Board of Assessment Appeals for the Town of Hamden will meet in an open zoom session on Tuesday September 29th, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., for the sole purpose of hearing appeals related to the assessment of Motor Vehicles.
All persons claiming to be aggrieved by the doings of the Assessor’s Office of the Town of Hamden with regard to Motor Vehicle assessments on the 2019 Grand List, are hereby advised to make their appeal to the Board of Assessment Appeals at this meeting. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, all hearings will be conducted via zoom platform. Please submit your name, home address, a valid email address and phone number to the Assessor’s drop box located at 2750 Dixwell Ave. Hamden, CT 06518 by September 24, 2020. Please include all pertinent information and documentation along with your complaint, and have your information available during your meeting. If deemed necessary you may be asked to provide backup documentation subsequent to the meetings by the Board of Assessment Appeals.
