Hamden – The Hamden Recreation Department is excited to announce a brand new Holiday Recipe Showcase! Residents and Businesses across Hamden are invited to submit their most delicious Holiday Season recipes for publication on the www.hamden.com website. Submitted recipes will be reviewed and approved by Hamden Recreation staff members, with a limit of 2 accepted recipes per submitter. Categories for recipe types will be created and listed on the website as submissions are received.

Residents and Businesses are asked to please submit written recipes with clear and concise step-by-step instructions. Please submit at least one photo of the finished dish along with your recipe instructions. Residents and Businesses should submit their written recipes and pictures (in JPEG format) by completing a submission form at www.hamden.com/recipeshowcase. Restaurant and Business community members are also invited to submit a cooking/instructional video lesson (along with written instructions) on how to make a favorite dish. To do this, please upload your finished video lesson to youtube and include the link in the submission form. Submitted videos will be embedded into www.hamden.com if they are approved by Recreation staff.

Submissions will be accepted and posted regularly through January 15^th, 2021 and will remain up on www.hamden.com permanently. We thank our residents and business community for their spirit and dedication this holiday season, especially in these trying and uncertain times. We hope sharing our favorite recipes as a community can bring just a little joy to Hamden this season.
