Hamden, CT - Public Works Director Craig Cesare announces that the extended Fall Leaf & Brush collection program has been postponed until further notice due to the severe winter storm Hamden is expected to experience this week. Additionally, the Hamden Transfer Station will be closed and will not offer additional hours this coming Saturday. Residents are reminded to visit www.hamden.com/transferstation for more information about the facility and hours of operation.
Upon the completion of snow removal and restoration duties, the Leaf & Brush collection program will resume for areas around Hamden which have yet been collected this season. Residents are reminded that they can also dispose of their leaf and brush debris by bringing their waste to the Transfer Station facility.
