The Hamden Assessor’s Office reminds all business owners in the Town of Hamden that personal property declarations must be received by the Assessor’s Office on or before November 1st.  State Statute provides that any business not filing a declaration or filing one after November 1st will have a 25 per cent penalty added to the assessment.  The Personal Property Declaration Form (Form M15) must also be signed in order to avoid a similar penalty.  Any business that has not received forms should contact the Assessor’s Office, 287-7128, or pick up forms at the Assessor’s Office in Town Hall, 2750 Dixwell Avenue.
