Free At-Home, Rapid COVID-19 Tests Distributed through Federal Government Website

Hamden – Residential households in the U.S. can order one (1) set of four (4) free at-home tests from USPS.com. Here is what you need to know about your order:

  • Limit of one (1) order per U.S. residential address.
  • One (1) order includes four (4) free individual rapid antigen COVID-19 tests.
  • Orders will ship at no cost within about 7-12 days of ordering, directly to your household, via the United States Postal Service.
  • The federal government will be launching a free call line for those without access to the internet, or needing additional assistance. We will provide you with the phone number once it becomes available.

Tests are best utilized when a person is symptomatic. An asymptomatic person may not have enough viral load for the test to register.

We believe that the speed at which Omicron is going through the nation and our community means that we will get through this quickly. We currently have many employees that have tested positive and many more will test positive. Please be patient and understand that services may suffer temporarily due to staffing shortages.
