Walk-In Services for Tax Office and Assessor’s Office
Hamden – To accommodate the tax season, the Tax Office and the Assessor’s Office will become open to walk-in services starting next week through February 1st, in line with on time collection.
The Tax Office and the Assessor’s Office will be open to walk-in services from Monday, January 24th through Tuesday, February 1st, during their normal business hours*.
*The hours of the Tax Office are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm, while the hours of the Assessor’s Office are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
Drop boxes are still available outside of Hamden Government Center to accept tax payments and other Town documents.

Public contact inside the rest of Hamden Government Center, including the Town Clerk’s Office, will remain limited to scheduled appointments only.
Staff remain available via phone and email to provide services remotely and by appointment, and we continue to encourage the public to take advantage of our remote service options whenever possible.
Keefe Community Center will remain limited to appointment only. The library will remain open to the public.
