Town Offices Closed; Trash & Recycling Pick-Up Delayed: Monday, September 5th, 2022

 Hamden – Town officials would like to remind residents and staff of the following holiday information.

Town offices, including Keefe Community Center, will be closed on Monday, September 5th, 2022 in observance of Labor Day. The Hamden Public Library buildings will be closed Saturday, September 3rd – Monday, September 5th. The library’s digital branch is available 24/7. All town offices and buildings will reopen on Tuesday, September 6th at their regularly scheduled hours.

Trash and recycling pick-up for the week of September 5th will be delayed. Collection starting September 5th will be delayed one day due to the Labor Day holiday. The pick-up normally scheduled for Monday, September 5th, will occur on Tuesday, September 6th and so forth, culminating in Friday's pick-up taking place on Saturday.  

The Hamden Transfer Station located at 231 Wintergreen Avenue will be open Saturday September 3rd from 8:00am - 11:45am. The Transfer Station will be closed Monday, September 5th and will reopen Tuesday, September 6th at 7:30am.
