Town Offices Closed Thursday, November 24th, 2022

Hamden – Town officials would like to remind residents and staff of the following holiday information.

Town offices, including Keefe Community Center, will be closed Thursday, November 24th, 2022 in observance of Thanksgiving Day.

All Hamden Public Library buildings will be closed Thursday, November 24th. Brundage Community Branch and Whitneyville Branch will remain closed through Sunday, November 27th while Miller Memorial Library will be open Friday, November 25th and Saturday, November 26th from 9:30am-5pm, and closed on Sunday November 27th. The library’s digital branch is available 24/7.

All other town offices and buildings will reopen Friday, November 25th at their regularly scheduled hours.

The Hamden Transfer Station located at 231 Wintergreen Avenue will be closed Thursday, November 24th through Friday, November 25th, and will be open Saturday, November 26th from 7:30am - 11:30am and 12:30pm - 3:00pm.

Trash and recycling pick-up for Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th will be delayed by one day due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday. The pick-up normally scheduled for Thursday, November 24th will occur on Friday, November 25th and so forth, culminating in Friday's pick-up taking place on Saturday.
