Town Offices Closed Thursday, November 24^th, 2022

Hamden – Town officials would like to remind residents and staff of the following holiday information.

Town offices, including Keefe Community Center, will be closed Thursday, November 24^th, 2022 in observance of Thanksgiving Day.

All Hamden Public Library buildings will be closed Thursday, November 24^th. Brundage Community Branch and Whitneyville Branch will remain closed through Sunday, November 27^th while Miller Memorial Library will be open Friday, November 25^th and Saturday, November 26^th from 9:30am-5pm, and closed on Sunday November 27^th. The library’s digital branch is available 24/7.

All other town offices and buildings will reopen Friday, November 25^th at their regularly scheduled hours.

The Hamden Transfer Station located at 231 Wintergreen Avenue will be closed Thursday, November 24^th through Friday, November 25^th, and will be open Saturday, November 26^th from 7:30am - 11:30am and 12:30pm - 3:00pm.

Trash and recycling pick-up for Thursday, November 24^th and Friday, November 25^th will be delayed by one day due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday. The pick-up normally scheduled for Thursday, November 24^th will occur on Friday, November 25^th and so forth, culminating in Friday's pick-up taking place on Saturday.
