Tuesday December 20th, Freedom Park

Hamden – The Town of Hamden will host a Night of Lights Menorah Lighting Celebration on Sunday, December 18th from 4:30PM to 5:30PM at Bassett Park, located at the corner of Waite St and Ridge Rd, in addition to the Freedom Park Menorah Lighting, at the intersection of Dixwell Ave and Whitney Ave, on Tuesday December 20th at 5PM. Please join us in these celebrations of Light as we kindle the Menorah in honor of the Hanukah Holiday, which began over 2000 years ago in Jerusalem. Menorah candles are lit after dark, at sundown, symbolizing “illuminating the night” and bringing light to the world.
