April 26: CT Teacher Residency Program Recruitment Event
Do you or someone you know to hold a bachelor’s degree and passion for developing young minds? If you are interested in becoming a certified elementary teacher (Grades 1-6) or special education teacher (K-12), this program may be just what you are looking for. Hamden Public Schools' next recruitment event is:
When: Wednesday, April 26th
Time: 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Where: Thornton Wilder Hall in the Miller Library Cultural Complex.
The CT Teacher Residency Program (CT TRP) is accepting rolling applications for the Class of 2024. In Hamden, candidates can become certified in Elementary Education (Grades 1-6) or Special Education (K-12). Priority applications are due before April 30th.
CT TRP is a NO COST alternate route program with a full-time residency component in one of the Hamden Public Schools. Resident candidates will be enrolled in rigorous coursework for 18 months and serve in a PAID residency position with BENEFITS in a mentor teacher’s classroom for the duration of an entire school year.
